PURPOSE: To restrict the amount of combustion per one piece of fuel nozzle and suppress the discharging amount of NOx by effecting diffusion combustion system upon low load to contrive the dispersion of fuel.
CONSTITUTION: The opening degree of an annular plate 17 is suppressed to a small value to set the amount of air to a value near a logical rate of excess air. Combustion, caused by a pilot flame from the tip end of a cone 10, is regulated so as to be about 10W20% of the total fuel upon low load and the optimum amount of air, with respect to the fuel ratio, is supplied by regulating the opening degree of a disc 20. Upon the high load of a turbine, air inflow into a combustion chamber is increased, holding of flame near the nozzle becomes impossible, the combustion chamber functions as the pre-mixing zone of the fuel and pre-mixing combustion, in which the combustion is initiated from the downstream side of the combustion chamber 31 near a place whereat the pilot flame is formed, is promoted. Flame keeping may be compensated by forming the pilot flame of sufficient strength at the tip end of the cone.
