PURPOSE: To mix sufficiently fuel with air to improve combustion efficiency by forming a nozzle of a plurality of slits connected to each other at a point and branched therefrom.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 70 provided on a nozzle section 60 has the section of composite slit shape, particularly X-shaped one, the two sides a, b of which are directed toward the cylinder head side and the other two sides c, d of which are directed toward the piston combustion chamber 4 side. Thus sprays a', b' from the upper two sides a, b collide with the inside from the outlet of the combustion chamber 4 and sprays c', d' from the lower two sides c, d are distributed toward the bottom of the combustion chamber 4 so that the introduction of air from the connected parts of four sides aWd is promoted to improve the mixing of air and fuel and combustion efficiency.
