PURPOSE: To make the coefficient of friction between a wiper blade and a windshield surface smaller by a method wherein resin is coated on blade rubber.

CONSTITUTION: The coefficient of friction between a windshield surface and a wiper blade is made smaller and the water adhered to the windshield surface is made to be smoothly wiped off by coating the surface of a blade rubber 1 with resin 2 with good slipperness and excellent weatherability such as Teflon. In addition, cracks are hard to develop on the blade rubber even under the exposure of a burning sun and intense cold, because the surface of the blade rubber 1 is covered with the resin 2 with excellent weatherability.
