PURPOSE: To perform uniform and satisfactory ruse preventive painting in a short time by disposing a spraying and coating device for rust preventing paint between rollers for conveyance and UV ray sources for curing in series just behind said device.

CONSTITUTION: A spraying and coating device 12 for rust preventive paint to the outside circumferential surface of a pipe P is provided between rollers 1 for conveyance which supports axially the pipe P. Plural pieces of UV ray sources 13 for curing the rust preventive paint are disposed circumferentially in equally spaced positions in series just behind the device 12 and an irradiating device is provided freely movably upward and downward. Then uniform and satisfactory rust preventive painting is accomplished in a short time even for various metallic pipes having different outside diameters.
