Title:
MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6032192
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the lower limit value of a bias magnetic field margin and to improve the start-stop characteristics for a magnetic bubble memory element, by using patterns approximately equal forms as a basic transfer pattern to form transfer lines immediately before and after a corner part.

CONSTITUTION: Basic chevron patterns 11 are arrayed in a prescribed cycle to form the transfer lines excepting a corner part 2 including the n-th and (n-1)th minor loops 1 and 1'. The part 2 is formed by arraying foot parts 11aW14a corresponding to s broken rod pattern 12, a modified chevron pattern 13 and a chevron pattern 14 respectively via parallel gaps of prescribed widths. At the part 2 attracting magnetic poles are formed on the parts 11aW14a when an intra-surface rotary magnetic field HR is revolved in the order of areas (a)W(d). Thus the magnetic bubbles held within a minor loop 1 are transferred consecutively.
