PURPOSE: To obtain a copy of a full color by exposure development of once, by suitably selecting a color for spectrum of a filter toner and a color in case when it has been developed by sublimation.
CONSTITUTION: A DC power supply 10 is connected to a main electrode 1 and a sub-electrode 5. At the same time, an optical image of a color original 11 is irradiated from a transparent electrode 6 side. As a result, a nagative charged filter toner 8 is drawn uniformly and adheres to a barrier layer 4 of the electrode 1. On the other hand, each color light from the original 11 transmits the electrode 5 and a developer 9, selectively transmits the toner 8 on the layer 4, reaches a photoconductive layer 3 of the electrode 1, it is internally polarized, and a positive hole is selectively trapped to the layer 4 side. Subsequently, when an electric power supply 12 is connected between both electrodes 2, 6 so that the electrode 1 side becomes negative, a toner held by the positive hole trapped to the layer 4 side of the layer 3 is held as it is, but the toner 8 except said toner is absorbed to positive charge charged to the electrode 6, is migrated in its direction and adheres onto the surface of a barrier layer 7. Therefore, on the surfaces of the layers 4, 7, negative and positive images are formed, respectively.
