Abstract:

PURPOSE: To record and reproduce a picture without flickering, by recording a video signal having a sufficient peak value for one frame's share and reproducing it on a monitor with a delayed recording command.

CONSTITUTION: An output of a television camera 15 is transmitted to a camera controller 16 and recorded on a VTR17. The output is reproduced on a monitor 18 just after the recording. A blanking signal generator 20 outputs a blanking signal to the camera controller 16 to cut off a scanning beam of the television camera 15 for the period. A video signal recording command is given to a delay timer 21 and a recording command is given to the VTR17 with a delay corresponding to the leading time of the video signal of the television camera 15. The VTR17 records the video output via the camera controller 16 for one frame's share as soon as the VTR17 receives the recording command. After the end of recording, the recording image is reproduced immediately at the monitor 18.
