PURPOSE: To enable multikind and small quantity production by arbitrary production in required quantity, and to eliminate the need for coating at every piece by interposing hot plates among a plurality of bundled tubes continuously transferred at the uniform speed and partially melting and contact-bonding the tubes.
CONSTITUTION: Two expanded polyethylene tubes A, B having different diameters are bundled transferred continuously at approximately the same speed, and fed in to the left and the right of a hot plate 14 through guide rollers 6, 21. The sliding sections of the tubes A, B are melted during a time when the tubes are slid to the previously heated hot plate 14, and a two-throw expanded polyethylene tube C is formed by contact-bonding the melted sections by a pressure roller 20 while being continuously taken up by the tensile force of endless belts 19, 19 for a take-up unit 2, and wound on a wind-up drum 22, thus manufacturing a wound and stacked body. Accordingly, multikind and small quantity production is enabled because the quality of materials, the number of the titled tubes, diametral size, etc. can be set arbitrarily by a simple device, and the time and labor required for coating at every one piece may be reduced because of multiplex processing.
