PURPOSE: To enable high resolving recording and to realize low cost, by performing recording by providing an electrode head wherein an electrically conductive layer and an electrical insulating layer are alternately laminated while performing current supply between an electrical conductor and a recording body through the laminated cross-sectional area of the electrode head.
CONSTITUTION: Discharge breakdown recording paper 21 consists of an aluminum vapor deposition layer 22, a black layer 23 and base paper 24. A writing electrode head 25 is molded by alternately laminating an electrical conductor, for example, a copper foil 26 and an electrical insulator, for example, an epoxy adhesive 27. The discharge breakdown recording paper is moved to the direction shown by the arrow while the laminated cross-sectional area of the electrode head 25 is pressed to the surface of said paper. At the same time, an electric signal is supplied between the discharge breakdown recording paper 21 and the electrical conductor 26 from an electric signal source to break the aluminum vapor deposition layer 22 and the block layer 23 is exposed to make a pattern corresponding to the electric signal visible. The characteristic of his electrode head resides in that said head is obtained by alternately laminating the electrical conductor and the electrical insulator and, only by changing the thickness of the electrical conductor or the thickness of the electrical insulator, high resolving electrode head can be simply formed.
