Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a mold of microorganism efficiently, by cultivating a microorganism in a medium containing a hydrolyzate of blood.
CONSTITUTION: A microorganism such as a yeast belonging to the genus Saccharomyces is cultivated in a medium containing a hydrolyzate of blood obtained by hydrolyzing a blood component such as total blood, plasma, serum, etc. of animal, e.g., bovine, swine, etc. by a common hydrolyzing method of protein, and a mold of the microorganism is collected from the culture.
