PURPOSE: To realize this toner replenishing device which can replenish a large amount of toner and is low in cost by pressing the toner out of a lateral hole by a pressing-out means and replenishing the toner.

CONSTITUTION: When a shaft 2 is rotated clockwise by a motor, a cylindrical main body part 3d which is fixed to the shaft 2 also rotates and a cord body 3a which is coupled also is rotated. A columnar node 3b naturally rotates as the cord body 3a is rotated and the toner T is pressed by the columnar node 3b to move from right to left at 1c of a hopper 1. The interval between the cylindrical main body part 3d and the inner surface 1a of the hopper 1 is very narrow and a little bit larger than the diameter of the columnar node 3b, so that the toner T can be moved efficiently by the columnar node 3b. Consequently, the low-cost toner supplementation device which can supplement a large amount of toner is obtained.
