Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove a dead zone in a device to take out randomly-stored materials by a magnet fixed at a wrist of a robot by providing a tool-fixing seat at the top of the wrist to be rotatable and arranging a magnet at an eccentric position thereon.

CONSTITUTION: A shoulder part 22, the first arm 23, the second arm 24, a wrist 25, and a tool-fixing seat 26 are driven by a computer on the basis of an operation program, pallet data, and supply position data stored. The wrist 25 is moved to a pallet 1, while a magnet holder 28 is turned to face to the corner of a material storage box 10 on the side of the pallet 1 against the wrist part 25 to be at 45° against the side of the material storage box 10 for checking whether there is a material W or not by the wrist part 25. When there is no material W, the wrist part is moved to a succeeding position. This operation is successively carried on for all coordinates by the control of the computer. This construction permits to remove a dead zone to take out materials.
