PURPOSE: To improve the filling rate of an optical fiber bundle by using a releasable resin in arraying the optical fiber bundle.
CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber bundle 2 is inserted into the hollow part of a cylindrical member 1 at the forward end, and a releasable resin 3 is fitted into the member 1 from the large diameter 1a side thereof. The stem part 3b of said resin is forced from the tapered surface into the small diameter part 1b and into the optical fiber bundle 2 diposed into an annular belt shape. An adhesive agent 2 is applied on the bundle 2 emerging from the end of the part 1b and is set. Thereafter, the bundle 2 is cut approximately on the same plane as the end face of the part 1b. The cut surface is polished, whereafter the resin 3 is released and an objective lens frame (not shown) is inserted.
