PURPOSE: To display the position of an ejector on a displayer by a method in which a sensor is provided to a mandrel, a detection piece is provided to an ejector 8, and electromagnetic waves from the sensor 12 are reflected on the detection piece and received by the sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 12 is provided to a mandrel 4, a detection piece 11 is provided to an ejector 8, and electromagnetic waves sent out of the sensor 12 are reflected on the detection piece 11 and received by the sensor 12. The position of the ejector 8 can thus be displayed on a displayer. A cylinder 10 is extended, an anchor plate 15 is attached to the tip of a drain material 6, the mandrel 4 is penetrated into the ground, and the drain material 6 is pushed out from the mandrel 4. When the drain material 6 is released and the ejector 8 is restored to its initial position, 0cm is displayed on the displayer. In case where disorder occurs in the operation of the ejector 8, the position is displayed on the displayer and a proper measure is taken for the disorder.
