PURPOSE: To uniformize expansion and contraction of a coupling hood and to smooth hood motion, by a method wherein the turn tables of front and rear vehicles are respectively coupled to a mounting frame, being a coupling hood, through a link mechanism which is disposed at the slewing center of front and rear vehicles.
CONSTITUTION: A turn table 16 of a front vehicle is coupled to a turn table 17 of a rear vehicle through a slewing bearing, and a mounting frame 15 is coupled to the turn table 17 through the turn table 16 and a link mechanism 18. The link mechanism 18 is disposed symmetrically about a slewing center 0, a slewing shaft 21, rotating integrally with a lever 20, is interposed through a base seat 19 secured to the turn table 16, and a lower end 21a thereof is securly attached to the mounting frame 15. The one end of the link is rotatably supported to arms 19a and 19b erected on the base seat 19 by means of pins 24 and 25. Links 22 and 23 and links 26 and 27 are pivotally supported by means of pins 30 and 31 slid within an oblong hole formed in the lever 20, and the other ends of the links 26 and 27 are pivotally supported to the turn table 17 by means of pins 34 and 35.
