PURPOSE: To carry out threading in high success ratio in end breakage of weft by transferring residual yarn on a winding face through a delivering means to a gripping means, cutting and arranging the yarn in a given length, eliminating the wound residual yarn and inserting the cut and arranged weft into a main nozzle.

CONSTITUTION: When end breakage occurs between a weft cheese 3 and a main nozzle 13, a frame is stopped and reversely rotated by a control computer, a blow nozzle 20 for delivery is jetted and a hook pin 9a is opened, a blow nozzle 12 is operated for a given time and residual yarn on a winding face 8b is introduced to a suction pipe 38 and gripped. Then a wound bobbin 8a is rotated, a given amount of weft Y is wound on the winding face 8b, the weft Y is cut and arranged in given fixed length by a cutter 22, cut end Y5 of weft is sucked in a duct 26 by stopping of the blow nozzle 20 and operation of blow nozzles 25 and 30 and removed. The cut residual yarn gripped by a driving roll 41 and a driven roll 43 is sucked in a suction pipe 38, removed and the cut and arranged weft Y is inserted into the main nozzle 13 by jetting flow of a nozzle 16 for inserting.
