PURPOSE: To feed fanfold paper according to paper feeding pitch of pin feed mechanism, by setting circumferential velocity of platen at a level higher than that of the pin feed mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: Circumferential velocity of a pin feed mechanism 32 is set at a level higher than that of a platen 2. In pushing operation, a paper bale roller 19 is brought in contact with the platen and a brake plate 22 is kept apart to prevent fanfold paper from becoming loose. In pulling operation, the paper roller 19 from the platen 2 is dismounted, the brake plate 22 is pressed against fanfold paper on the platen and the platen 2 is slipped to set substantial feed at an exact level according to paper feeding pitch of a pin feed mechanism 32. Contact and isolation of the brake plate 22 and the bale roller 19 are interlocked with position shifting action of the pin feed mechanism to avoid misoperation.
