Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately set speed distribution of fluid by providing a honeycomb structure in a flow passage of the fluid and putting distribution of the length of through holes of said structure in correspondence to speed distribution of the fluid. CONSTITUTION:Many through holes 7 of a honeycomb structure 8 have the function of fractionizing a flow 1 of a fluid into a large number of slender flow sections in the direction of its course and letting them pass. The honeycomb structure 8, fitted between a base board 3 and a top board 4, has four sides in the direction of the flow which are L, L, L, L in the length respectively. The rear end face of the structure 8 is provided perpendicularly to a flow passage and any flow speed distribution may be obtained by adjusting distribution of the length of a large number of through holes 7 of the honeycomb structure 8.
