CONSTITUTION: The outer diameters of both end parts being nonimaging part areas of an intermediate transferring roller 6 is made smaller than that of the intermediate part being imaging part areas, and the step difference (d) is arranged to be 0.05W0.5mm, but preferably to be about 0.1mm. Both end parts of the intermediate transferring roller 6 may be constituted as a bearing 17 having about 0.1mm step difference (d).
