PURPOSE: To miniaturize a system component and to improve the operability by outputting a composite control signal controlling each function of a tuner of a system component and using a remote controller provided with a display means displaying the control state.

CONSTITUTION: Since each braodcast wave AM/FM/SW/LW is selected freely, its sound volume is adjusted and display means 18a,...18c are used for display freely by the operation of selection keys 16a,...16c of a remote controller 10 at the local position for the tuner 3 of the system component 1, it is not required to provide a control means and a display means to the system component 1 itself and the system is arranged neatly with small size. Since the control is attained from the remote controller 10, the controller is controlled at a proper position desired to listen to and an excellent operability is attained.
