Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a radial gap type DC motor and to facilitate the magnetization of the motor by forming a permanent magnet of a sole pole magnet having an N-pole at one side surface and an S-pole at the other surface of an anisotropic magnet in a thicknesswise direction and of rare earth e metal magnet. CONSTITUTION:A rotor magnet 100 is formed by a sole pole magnetization by using a rare earth metal magnet having anisotropy in a thicknesswise direction to become an N-pole and an S-pole in a dirction of a rotational shaft 4. A rotor yoke 300 is formed of a nonmagnetic material. Magnet teeth 11, 12 made of a soft magnetic material are disposed to intrude the magnet 100 in such a manner that the magnet points are alternately aligned at N-pole, S-pole, N-pole,... as seen from the inside of a stator 7 side. A pulley 10 is mounted on the shaft 4. The magnet 100 is formed in an injection molding. Thus, a radial type DC motor is operated to improve the performance of the motor and to facilitate the magnetization.
