PURPOSE: To make it possible to take up stacked papers in a feed-out device for taking up stacked papers one by one, surely at a high rate, by utilizing the compressed air blow-out and suction phenomena due to the reciprocating of a piston in a cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: When a drive shaft 25 is rotated at a fixed speed, a feed-out roller 20 is rotated through a pulley 26, a toothed belt 17, etc. Simultaneously, a piston 29 reciprocates within a cylinder 28 through bevel gears 35, 36, a crank shaft 30 and a piston rod 31. When rows of holes 37 through 37c for sucking up a ticket on the roller 20 are communicated with an opening 33 in the cylinder 28, the uppermost one 40 of stacked tickets 34 is sucked up by negative pressure which is effected during retracting of the piston 29 and therefore, is taken up. Then, rows of air blow-off holes 38, 38a on the roller 20 are communicated with an opening section 33, compressed air is blown out toward the uppermost ticket 40 by positive pressure which is effected during extending of the piston 29, thereby the ticket 40 is separated from the roller 20 and is held between belts 44, 45.
