PURPOSE: To record a color picture by one-shot system by making uniform exposure to eliminate state of charging of one of photoconductive layers and performing development by toner colored in complementary color of specified color succeedingly.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive body 1 is made by laminating two layers of photoconductive layers 1B, 1C on a conductive base 1A and providing three primary color mosaic filter 1D on it. This filter 1D is made by arranging minute filters 1F in mosaic form and photoconductive layers 1B, 1C have panchromatic spectroscopic sensitivity for visible light. However, the spectroscopic sensitivity or photosensitivity is different from each other, and photoconductive layers 1B, 1C are charged in reverse direction to each other. When light image of a color original O is formed on the photosensitive body 1 and color picture exposure is made, and weak red light is irradiated on the photosensitive body 1, charged state of the photoconductive layer 1B is eliminated and succeedingly charged state of the photoconductive layer 1C is eliminated, and colored in cyan which is complementary color of red. When developed, the part of red filter is developed.
