PURPOSE: To obtain a device capable of recovering automatically to the operating state kept immediately before hitting after the input voltage is restored in spite of the hit of the input voltage during the operation of a reproducing device by providing the titled device with a control means reading out various data immediately before input voltage drops less than a prescribed level by a storage device and restarting the titled device.

CONSTITUTION: When a voltage detecting circuit 6 detects that the input voltage to a main power supply circuit drops less than V1, a disc loading discriminating means 411 detects whether the disc is loaded to a reproducing part 5 or not from the output of a disc detecting sensor. Since no loading of the disc informs no operation of the reproducing device, the reproducing device is unloaded from the processing routine without any operation. When the loading of the disc is detected, the reproducing device executes some operation. Therefore, a reproducing part operation control means 410 executes processing for interrupting the operation of the reproducing device, an RAM control means 412 stores data necessary for the restarting of the interrupted operation in an RAM42 and then executes protection processing for preventing the contents of the RAM from being rewritten erroneously during the drop of the input voltage to the main power supply, and finally, the reproducing device is unloaded from the processing routine.
