PURPOSE: To attain lightness of an electromagnetic reflecting body and ventilation and flexibility by using a conductive thread or code provided with a metallic film on the surface of a thread made of a high polymer.
CONSTITUTION: The high polymer thread having a metallic film on its surface is obtained by cutting a high polymer film having a metallic film on its surface. An organic high polymer or a fluororesin is used for the high polymer. Furthermore, a conductive metal is used as the metal. The electromagnetic wave reflecting body of mesh structure is obtained by using the conductive thread or the code made of said threads. Moreover, the surface treatment to improve the weatherproof and corrosion-proof performance of the metallic film is required. It is possible to form textile or knit by combining other raw material to the thread or the cord. Thus, the electromagnetic wave reflecting body possible for folding is formed.
