Title:
MUSICAL TONE SIGNAL GENERATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04120596
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve an expressive power in accordance with a variation of a delicate waveform at the time of actual musical performance by executing the change control of a tone in accordance with a variation degree of a designated tone in addition of designation of a regular tone.

CONSTITUTION: The above device is provided with a tone envelope generator 110 for generating a control waveform signal for controlling a tone together with a sound volume envelope generator 80, a tone envelope signal TED of a logarithmic value outputted from the tone envelope generator 110 is inputted as it is to a waveform signal generating circuit 70, and also, inputted to a level change rate calculating part 120 and a level change rate signal ΔTED is calculated, and the signal is inputted to the waveform signal generating circuit 70 as the level change rate signal ΔTED. Subsequently, in addition to the control of a tone based on a tone control waveform signal TC, the tone in a musical tone signal is controlled, based on the change degree (ΔTED) of the detected tone. In such a way, a delicate waveform in a process in which the sound volume is varied timewise is reproduced.
