Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the speed shift shock of an automatic transmission, by restricting the intake quantity of an engine at the time of shifting of the transmission to a higher speed position. CONSTITUTION:A control valve 10 is provided in an intake passage 9 upstream to a throttle valve 4. Depending on the signals of a first-second shifting signal circuit 12 and a second-third shifting signal circuit 13 or depending on not only said signals but also that of a throttle opening degree judgment circuit 14 in some case, a control circuit 11 opens or closes the control valve 10 to restrict the intake quantity of an engine at the time of shifting of an automatic transmission to a higher speed position.
