Abstract:
PURPOSE:To incorporate a device into various kinds of system by using one power control element for load and adopting a low voltage to a voltage applied to a part where the output is controlled so as to simplify the constitution of a voltage variable device. CONSTITUTION:An electronic AC voltage variable device is provided with a diode bridge 11, and a single phase AC power supply 1 is connected to one AC input terminal via a load 4 and the other AC input terminal Moreover, a drain and a source of a power MOSFET12 are connected to the DC output of the bridge 11. A series circuit comprising a fixed resistor 9, a variable resistor 10 and plural diodes 18 is connected in parallel between the drain and the source, and a connected point between the resistors 9, 10 is connected to the gate of the FET12. Then a voltage being a subtraction of a load voltage VL from a power supply voltage VI is applied between the drain and source of the FET12, a low voltage is adopted to a voltage applied to the resistor 10 so as to change the resistance value of the resistor 10, allowing to change the voltage applied to the load 4.
