PURPOSE: To prevent swing of a bobbin during transfer of the bobbin, by using frictional resistance between a regulating member, mounted in a manner to make contact with the side of the bobbin, and the bobbin side.

CONSTITUTION: Engaging pieces 23a and 23b on the outer periphery of a toothed belt 24 receive a bobbin 12 fed through a bobbin shooter 28, and the long engaging piece 23a and the short engaging piece 23b are alternately disposed at intervals of a length approximately equal to the outer diameter of a flange part 12b of the top part of the bobbin 12. When a peg 2a on a truck 2 is conveyed to a position corresponding to a support rail 11, a bobbin supporting member 30, which is waiting in a condition to hang down and support the bobbin 12 fed through the bobbin shooter 28, is moved in a position facing the support rail 11. When this is detected, the belt 24 is moved by the interval at disposition of the engaging piece 23a, and the bobbin 12 is moved to a position B of a support part 11a of the rail 11. The side of the bobbin 12 makes contact with a bar 35, and friction resistance between the bobbin side and the bar 35 prevents the occurrence of swing along an advancing direction together with its lateral swing.
