PURPOSE: A remedy and preventive for peptic ulcer having strong inhibitory activity against secretion of gastric juice, excellent antiulcer action and low toxicity, containing H chain of human IgG as an active ingredient.
CONSTITUTION: A remedy and preventive for peptic ulcer containing H chain of human IgG as an active ingredient. The H chain is a polypeptide chain having 50,000±1,500 molecular weight obtained by scissoring disulfide bond of IgG from IgG derived from human. This time, H chain is found newly to have antipeptic ulcer action. Namely, it has strong inhibitory activity against secretion of gastric juice. Powder, tablet, and capsule for oral medication, liposome preparation, intravenous injection or intramuscular injection is used as the form of medication. The preventive has low toxicity, excellent pharmaceutical effect, and is useful as a drug for remedying and preventing ulcer. A dose is preferably 1W 100mg/kg/day/adult.
