PURPOSE: To take out a semi-coagulated substance after pulverization without re- fusing the same by a compact installation, by a method wherein a high temp. molten substance is scattered in a finely pulverized form and the pulverized semi-coagulated substance is received while tumbled on a porous inclined plate having jet orifices.
CONSTITUTION: When a high temp. molten substance such as molten slag is flowed down from a nozzle X and scattered into a wind tunnel 4 while pulverized by the gas stream from a pulverizing apparatus 3, it is converted to a semi- coagulated condition and fallen on a porous inclined plate 6 jetting air from the jet orifices thereof. Semi-coagulated slag particles are tumbled while cooled and further moved along a similar porous inclined plate 7 while receives directional conversion to be discharged to a storage part 8. As described above, semi-coagulated slag after pulverization is coagulated and taken out by a compact installation without re-fusing particles.
