PURPOSE: In a rear suspension having a suspension arm where the front ends at the inner and outer sides in the lateral direction are supported at the chassis side, to improve the load noise reducing effect by supporting the inner side by means of a member resiliently supported on the chassis.

CONSTITUTION: The left and right trailing independent rear suspension is constructed with suspension arm 1, coil spring 3, bond bamper 5 and shock absorber 7. Here bush sections 9, 11 are provided at the inner and outer sides in the lateral direction of the suspension arm 1 and bushes 9a, 11a are provided. The outer bush section 11 is fixed to an outer bracket 14 secured to the under side of an outrigger 13 at the chassis side while the inner bush section 9 is fixed to the under side at the central section of a suspension member 17 extending in the lateral direction.
