PURPOSE: To prevent an article which is branched from being erroneously transferred into a main transportation passage by suspending the cutting-out of the next article until an article which is branched from the main transportation passage and transported to a bypath line reaches the bypath line perfectly.

CONSTITUTION: When a tray T1 having a vacant bobbin or a bobbin having an exceedingly small amount of residual yarn collides with a stopper 11 and stops, only one sensor PHO12 operates, and a solenoid SO12 for cutting-out stopper is energized, and a cam plate 19 is turned to the position 19a shown by the chain line. Then the tray T1 is cut-out and transferred onto a main transportation passage 3. When the tray T1 departs from a stop position X, the cam plate 19 returns to the original position. When the tray T1 has a bobbin having a sufficient amount of yarn, and the both sensors PHO12 and 13 operate, a solenoid SO16 for movable guide is energized, together with the solenoid SO12, and the movable guide 10 is turned to the position shown by the full line, and the tray T1 is transferred to a branched-passage 8 side.
