Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure the optimum performance throughout the range from low pressure ratio to high, by forming each rotor vane from a moving and a stationary part, and by adjusting the shape of the vane train passage. CONSTITUTION:Each of the rotor vanes installed in a train at the periphery of a turbine rotor is formed from a moving 4 and a stationary 5 part, and the moving part 5 is adjusted so as to form a reducing vane train passage during low pressure ratio, and a widening vane train passage during high pressure ratio. Thereby the optimum passage is formed throughout the operating range from low pressure ratio to high, to ensure the best performance at all times.
