PURPOSE: The titled composition that is made by mixing a nicotinic acid amide, its analog and an inorganic salt, thus showing stabilized activity of plant growth regulation without dissipation of nicotinic acid amide and its analog in a short time and being used to grow rice plant seedlings.
CONSTITUTION: A nicotinic acid amide, its analog such as nicotinic acid, nicotinic hydrazide and inorganic salt such as sodium nitrate, sodium bicarbonate, which may be applied in a form of fertilizer, are mixed to give the objective composition for plant growth regulation. The addition of inorganic salt stabilizes their activity for a long term. The amount of the inorganic salt is 0.1W50, preferably 1W30pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the nicotinic acid amide and its analog.
