PURPOSE: To enable the calibration of a meter for a shorter time by selecting an adjusting trimmer corresponding to an error voltage.
CONSTITUTION: A start signal outputted from a microcomputer 11 is inputted into a standard meter 1 via a bus 15-interface 14 to turn ON a switch 3 of the meter 1 and a standard voltage (Es)4 (to be 1.8V) is indicated on an indication plate 6 while the standard voltage (E4)4 is inputted into the input terminal 5- lead 10-input terminal 7 to be indicated on an indication plate 8 of a meter 2. When the indication value is 1.7V, it is inputted into the microcomputer 11 via the interface 16→lead 17→bus 15. The data of the 1.7V is detected with a CPU18 and as a result, the number of a specific trimmer for adjustment in an adjusting point 9 of the meter 2 is read out from a memory and the trimmer number, for example, 9-8 is shown on a display 20. If necessary, the number of the trimmer for adjustment is printed on a printer 13. Observing this number of the trimmer for adjustment, a meter calibration worker adjusts the adjusting trimmer 9 of the meter 2 to be calibrated so as to hold the meter within a prescribed value.
