Title:
AIR CONDITIONER FOR CAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59195413
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the power loss of an engine at temperature control by separately controlling the temperature of the upper blow off air using an electric control means for controlling the evaporator cooling performance and the temperature of the lower blowoff air using a temperature control damper that controls the hot to cool air ratio.

CONSTITUTION: The air sent from an air blower 13 is blown from only an upper blowoff port 14 at cooling since a damper 19 from a first air path 17 is closed. When the temperature control section is set between the maximum cooling position and the maximum heating position, the preset temperature of an evaporator 12 is controlled through a thermostat 26a and a temperature control damper 43 is opened and closed. Thus, the cool air is blown only the upper blowoff port 14 and cooling is obtained. At heating, the first to third dampers 19, 21, and 24 are opened separately and the cool air and the hot air allow the air flow ratio to be controlled by the temperature control damper 43 and are blown from a lower blowoff port 22. As a result, the waste of engine power can be prevented by performing the upper blowoff temperature depending upon the cooling performance control of the evaporator.
