PURPOSE: To prevent a seal part from outwardly rising above a strip so as to improve a seal character of the weather strip, by forming a recessed stripe part between the bottom part of a peripheral contact face and the peripheral end edge of a sash and folding the seal part to the side of the sash.

CONSTITUTION: A sash 5 is mounted to the periphery of a sun roof glass 4, and a weather strip 6 is mounted. The weather strip 6, comprising a mounting base part 9 of solid rubber and a seal part 7 of sponge rubber, forms a recessed stripe part 10 between a contact face 7a of the seal part 7 and a peripheral end edge 5a of the sash. The seal part 7 is folded inward by the recessed stripe part when a sun roof is mounted, causing an upper end 7b of the seal part to eliminate its rising upward, thus a seal character is also improved by increasing a contact pressure of the contact face 7a.
