PURPOSE: To use a titled solvent for preparing a reagent for testing the clotting reaction of red blood corpuscles, to suppress non-specific reaction and to improve the sensitivity in measurement, by incorporating the placenta tissue component or muscular system component originating in an animal in a specific concn. range in an aq. solvent for testing clotting of red blood corpsucles.
CONSTITUTION: The blood serum of a normal animal or the placenta tissue component or muscular system component of a man or goat which is ground or decomposed finely is added to an aq. solvent for testing the clotting reaction of red blood corpuscles (water, physiological salt soln., buffer soln., etc.) so as to provide the concentration of 0.01W0.4wt/vol%. Particularly when a carrier is the goat red blood corpuscles sensitized with an antibody, the non-specific reaction is suppressed from 1:64W1:128 to 1:4W1:16 dilution times of the blood plasma specimen in, for example, a test of an HBS antigen in the case of preparing a test reagent by adding the above-described tissue component to a phosphoric acid buffer soln. of about 7.3pH and using the same. The non-specific clotting reaction is thus suppressed and the sensitivity in detection is increased.
