Title:
FUEL INJECTION TIMING CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5820935
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To elininate the difference between an actual combustion period and a target combustion period, by a method wherein an actual combustion period is detected at the time of combustion, and an actual rotational phase shift is detected at the time of non-injection of fuel.

CONSTITUTION: The injection timing of the fuel injected into a cylinder or cylinders of the engine 7 is detected by a detector 3 for the actual combustion period, and is controlled by using the target combustion period obtained by an electric calculating means 4 as a target value. When combustion is not conducted, the rotational phase shift is controlled by the calculating means 4. Accordingly, scattering in a fuel injection system and changes in the system with time are controlled, and even at the time of change-over from a non-combustion condition to a combustion condition, the fuel injection can be conducted at a timing which is not largely deviated from the target combustion period.
