PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of fuel occasioned by a drain valve being left opened, by installing, on a drain passage for draining tar in a vaporizer a manually-operated drain valve in series to an on-off valve which opens when an engine stops running.
CONSTITUTION: The body 2 of the vaporizer 1 of an LPG engine is partitioned by a partition wall 3 into a primary chamber 4 having an LPG inlet 6 and a secondary chamber 5 having an LPG outlet 7. A drain piping, in which an electromagnetic on-off valve 26 and a manually-operated drain valve 27 are located in series, is connected to the secondary chamber 5, and the electromagnetic on- off valve 26 is closed with an ignition switch 34 ON and is opened with the switch OFF. Meanwhile, an electromagnetic on-off valve 16, located in an LPG inlet side passage 14, is maintained in a closed state with a first switch 36 closed and a second switch 37 opened by a sensor 28 when the drain valve 27 is fully or partially opened, and simultaneously, a lamp 36 comes on.
