Title:
MAGNETIC HEAD DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60111317
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize a reproduced output envelope by constituting a magnetic head so as to be perpendicular at all times to a magnetic recording medium thereby solving defects of a head touch produced when the mechanical position of the magnetic head is displaced and eliminating spacing loss between the magnetic head and the magnetic recording medium.

CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric bimorph 11 one end of which is fixed is moved in a form of a curve vertically by applying a voltage to terminals of lead wires 11c, 11d, the 1st support member 14 and the 2nd support member 15 connected to the free end of the piezoelectric bimorph 11 are moved vetically accordingly to displace vertically a magnetic head 21. The support member 15 absorbs and regulates directly the circular-arc movement of the free end side of the piezoelectric bimorph 11 whose one end is fixed with a long hole 17 serving as a connecting part with the support member 14 and shafts 19, 19 locked to a long hole 20 of fixed members 18, 18. Thus, the magnetic head 21 is brought into perpendicular contact with the face 22 of the magnetic tape at all times to eliminate spacing loss and to obtain stable reproduced output envelope.
