Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify a transmission in structure as well as to aim at improvements in shift operatability, by attaching a dynamo to a counter shaft, and driving or braking the latter through the former, while making the number of revolution or peripheral velocity in parts engaged with each other come congruent. CONSTITUTION:In time of shift operation, a clutch is made to come into a state of being intercepted upon stepping on a clutch pedal and under this condition, when a shift lever 28 is operated, shift directions of sleeves 10 and 11 or a gear 8 are found out at a microcomputer 21 through the output of a switch 29 which detects the selected shift position. And, the number of revolution in an internal gear 12 and a claw 13 being engaged with each other or peripheral velocity in each of gears 8 and 9 is controlled so as to be congruous. This synchronous control takes place by means of a dynamo 20 coupled with a counter shaft 14 on the basis of operation on the microcomputer 21. That is to say, the number of synchronous revolution in the counter shaft 14 is calculated in conformity with the gear ratio stored in a memory of the microcomputer 21 whereby the counter shaft 14 is driven or braked by the dynamo 20 so as to accord with this revolution.
