PURPOSE: To make effective use of a space by oscillating opening and closing members with pivotted hunger arms by a cam rail for folding the arms when empty hungers are returned.

CONSTITUTION: Rollers 9bW12b are fixed on outer arm parts 9aW12a of opening and closing members 9W12 fixed on a support member 5 to be guided by a cam rail 14 of a U-shaped section supported on a ceiling 1, and the opening and closing members are oscillated horizontally when the cam rail 14 is in a horizontal position A and vertically when it is in an upper position B. In the hunger arms 15W18 provided to correspond to the said opening and closing members 9W12, upper parts 15aW18a are fixed by pins 19 on the inner arm parts 9cW12c of the opening and closing members 9W12, and the lower parts 15bW 18b are provided with holding parts 20 and 21 of a car body 2. In this construction, when empty hungers are returned, hungers are folded to reduce their height by half to reduce the occupying space of the hungers for making effective use of the space of a factory.
