Title:
TRANSFER PAPER FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6061762
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of flow of image in transfer paper for electrophotography using talc as a filler for paper by incorporating the talc at the content as ash of a specific value or below with respect to the absolute dry weight of the paper.

CONSTITUTION: Paper dust is cleaned together with the residual developer on a photosensitive drum 1 by a cleaning blade 8, etc. in a cleaning stage in succession to transfer. However the paper dust is hardly cleaned by the blade 8 if the filler of paper 2 is talc. The electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body 1 is disturbed and so-called the flow of an image is resulted therefrom when the electric resistance is made lower than the dark resistance value of the body 1 by absorption of misture, etc. On the other hand, the paper 2 contg. no filler at all is inferior in opacity, whiteness and writing quality. Therefore if the talc is incorporated into the paper 2 at ≤3% by the absolute dry weight of said paper, a large amt. of copying is made possible without the flow of the image.
