PURPOSE: To enable imprinting of the marking-off data for correct exposure in the use of any kinds of cameras or adapters by determining the quantity of the light to be emitted for imprinting of the marking-off data meeting the kind of the camera or adapter.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU41 reads out the code data expressing index from an ROM43 and transfers the same to an LED display panel 13 when a patient key is pushed after a power source is thrown. The characters INDEX are thus flickered and displayed on a panel 13. An index value 3 is set in a RAM44 when the index value meeting the kind of the camera or adapter, for example, 3, is inputted by a keyboard 17. The shutter of the camera is opened and the 183msec which is the data on the light emission time corresponding to the INDEX3 is read out from the ROM43 and is set in the RAM44 when a release button is pushed. The lamp lighting signal is supplied together with the flash signal of 183msec to a light source unit 51 in this stage.
