Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a gas from accumulating on the upstream side of a damper by extracting the gas on the upstream side of the damper within the exhaust pipe where the flow of the exhaust gas is stopped by an operating gas formed by the exhaust gas flowing through the opened damper. CONSTITUTION:A damper 6 of an exhaust pipe 9 is opened and a damper 5 of an exhaust pipe 3 connected to a supercharger 1 which is stopped is blocked. Further, an electromagnetic valve 16 within an operating gas pipeline 14 connected to a gas extractor 8 is opened, and other electromagnetic valve 17 is closed. Exhaust gas within an exhaust gas pipe 4 flows into an operating gas pipe 14 through an opening part 14a. By the injection of the operating gas, the gas on the side of the supercharger 1 which is stopped is exhausted through a pipeline 12 into the air.
