PURPOSE: To provide a device which can stop rewinding of a film automatically with extremely simple constitution.

CONSTITUTION: When an operating knob 45 is moved in an arrow (c) direction to bring an operating plate 43 in an illustrated state, the side face 21c of a stopping lever 21 of winding is pressed by the end part 43c thereof, and the lever 21 is held in the state of turning a switch 22 on by the projecting part 21b thereof. Then a motor 1 is put in a driving state. On the other hand, the movement of the plate 43 is transmitted to an operating plate 38 as well via a transmission lever 40, and further an oscillating lever 32 is turned up to the position of meshing a gear 30 with a gear 33 while receiving the influence of the energizing force of a spring 52. Therefore, the driving of the motor 1 is transmitted with gear groups 5W36 to a fork 37, by which a film 53 is rewound. When the film 53 deviates from a spool 2 and the load on the fork 37 decreases, the plate 38 is moved in the left direction shown in the figure by the energizing force of a spring 51, by which the switch 22 is turned off to stop power supply to the motor 1 and the rewinding motion is terminated.
