Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5936255
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity of a photoreceptor, by incorporating a specified photoconductive compd. in a charge transfer layer in forming a function separation type electrophotographic receptor.

CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene terephthalate film covered with aluminum as a conductive layer is coated with a dispersion prepd. by dispersing a disazo pigment into a dichloroethane soln. of polyester resin, and dried to form a charge generating layer having 0.4g/m2 coating amt. Then, it is coated with a soln. prepd. by dissolving in monochlorobenzene a triphenyl type compd. represented by the shown formula in which A is an electron donor; a, R are each H or methyl; and n is 0 or 1. The coated layer is dried to form a charge transfer layer having 12g/m2 coating amt. after drying. The photoreceptor thus prepd. has extremely high sensitivity, and small residual potential, and hence, it is used for not only a dry transfer type copying machine, but also for wide range various electrophotographic applied fields.
