PURPOSE: To attain ease of input of a character and a graphic form by operating at least a part of key among operation keys for the drawing of the character and the graphic form.

CONSTITUTION: An operation key code given from each key sequentially is stored in a memory 7 and transmitted to a display control section 4. Since a bar generating section 5 is started when the control section 4 receives this operation key code K, the bar display corresponding to each key operation appears at an input display section 2. When the operator depresses an input button Z after confirming the display, a readout section 9 is started, a data in the memory 7 is read out and given to an encoder 11, and a character code CH is outputted at its output. This character code is stored in a memory 15 via a register 13. The inputted character code group operated with an opration key 1 is stored in the memory 15.
